Blind Lake
Blind Lake is located in the Tirol alps in Austria right below the Fern pass at an altitude of 1093 meters above sea level. It's depth is about 25 meters. Entry point is the boat house below the parking area. The lake is in private property of the Wellness Hotel MOHR in Lermoos where one has to get a permission for each diver. The many sunken trees are very impressive. In the year 1984 after strong snow falls the slope on the north side slipped down and the frozen lake was covered with trees. Shortly aftewards the ice broke and everything sank. The lake is popular by bathers and divers. Unfortunately there are no toilets at the parking area and therefore the wood around it is coveres with toilet paper and excrements.
