Vom 14. bis 30. Juli weilten wir im wunderschönen Aore Island Resort auf der kleinen Insel Aore, welche sich in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft zur Insel Espiritu Santo befindet und durch diese durch den Segond Kanal getrennt ist. Unterkunft und Verpflegung in diesem Resort sind Spitzenklasse. Die Zeit verbrachten wir vor allem mit Tauchen am Wrack der SS President Coolidge und dem Million Dollar Point. Im Resort ist eine kleine Tauchbasis, bei der man seine Sachen auswaschen und aufhängen kann. Die Tauchbasis wird von Santo Island Dive bedient, welche einen jeweils morgens zu zwei Tauchgängen per Boot abholt.
